The Thadingyut (Festival of Lights)
Thadingyut Festival is one of the most prominent festivals of the year and to mark the end of the Buddhist Lent. Pagodas, houses, public building and monuments are decorating with beautiful lighting and worshipping to the Buddha. Pilgrims are paying homage Buddhist monks, teachers, parents and elders and asking pardon for whatever misdeeds might have committed during the year.
